My name is Moradeke Okupe and I have just completed my Master’s in Advertising and Marketing at the University of Hull. I am currently a marketing intern at Peak Earth.

I would like to thank the University of Hull and the Humber Internship Programme for this opportunity. I have been working at Peak Earth for about 4 weeks now. It has been an amazing opportunity, and I am so grateful.

My internship has helped bridge the gap between education and employment

It has opened my eyes to how the real world of marketing works. What you learn in the classroom is useful, but applying it is a whole different thing. I have grown as an individual and as a professional. I have developed a few new marketing skills I did not know I was capable of.

I’ve received support and mentoring throughout

My manager has been very helpful. He creates room for growth and development. He makes sure there is always an opportunity for me to gain more knowledge and skills in marketing and business.

The whole team have been awesome

They have welcomed me with so much positivity, support, and encouragement. I am looking forward to the remaining 8 weeks of the Internship, I am sure it will be as great as these first 4 weeks.
