Overview of Opportunity

Reflex Data are an Information Technology company based in Hull with over 30 years of experience, developing and maintaining their own specialist software application and integrated solutions. Reflex Data are the authors of their own specialist leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, which has been developed specifically to meet the challenges and manage day-to-day activities of a global customer base within a niche manufacturing and distribution sector.

 

The role of Service Support Analyst is available due to continued growth in the UK and in overseas markets. The successful candidate will be joining an expanding Service Support team, playing an important role supporting a global customer base. Training in Reflex Data’s support systems will be provided, to help you to grow and develop your role and enhance your career. It is expected that you will have a logical mind, enjoy problem solving and you will enjoy dealing with customers.

The Support Services team is seen as a gateway to other opportunities in Reflex Data, such as Software Testing and Implementation or Project Management and Training etc.

Role Description

  • With full training provided, you will be joining an established Service Support team of 1st/2nd/3rd line analysts, responsible for the resolution or escalation of incidents in relation to Reflex’s specialist ERP software
  • Dealing with incoming incidents reported through Reflex’s service desk via a Microsoft Case Management System (CMS)
  • Analysing occurrences in detail in relation to Reflex Datas specialist software, and providing issue resolution or escalating appropriately
  • Upon training and increasing your knowledge of Reflex’s software, you will be able to liaise directly with customers, taking the lead in providing end to end support
  • Using Reflex Data’s Microsoft CMS to capture all relevant information
  • Providing regular updates to customers on logged faults and requests
  • Update all the cases on the system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the teams working targets and deadlines
  • Adding and contributing to Reflex Data’s knowledge databases regularly
  • Liaise with 3rd party support providers
  • Liaise with other internal Reflex teams and departments as and when required, and in an appropriate manner

Skills and Experience (Essential):

  • Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
  • Excellent IT Skills, including all Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good customer handling skills
  • Confident and professional work ethic
  • Ability to plan and carry out work on your own or as part of the team
  • Excellent attention to detail

Skills and Experience (Desirable):

  • Previous exposure of knowledge of a business management system/finance management system
  • Be commercially aware of business functions
  • Previous exposure to customer support in some capacity
  • Good time management and organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Business, Computer Science or Finance degree applicants to be considered

Potential for Permanent Employment (if applicable):

  • This role has the opportunity to turn permanent if internship deemed successful
