Overview of Opportunity

  • As a Software Developer you will work as part of a growing team responsible for implementing, improving and maintaining products and/or systems which deliver effective customer solutions and long-term objectives
  • You will benefit from on-going coaching and development in a range of skills, product knowledge and the technical ability required by the role, working with a supportive team whilst gaining recognition for your contribution to team successes.
  • You will be heavily invested in and enabled to reach your full potential from access to the latest technologies, through to training and development.
  • This position would ideally suit a fresh graduate ready for their first endeavour into the industry or someone with previous commercial exposure

Role Description

  • Working alongside another developer within a small team – working on a variance of client projects in the development, implementation and maintenance of different products/systems
  • Collaborating within the team and/or consultants in working on multiple projects
  • Helping design technical solutions that deliver the expected outcomes
  • Contributing to estimating tasks, driving towards approaches that balance quality and speed of delivery
  • Stack: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript / TypeScript, Docker and SQL

Skills and Experience (Essential):

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent teamworking abilities
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and immersing yourself in a small team
  • Strong customer service skills
  • C# (.NET)
  • NET Core
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • REST APIs
  • Using Git-based version control within small teams

Skills and Experience (Desirable):

  • Experience with common database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows, and the configuration of them to support the installation of software
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Familiarity with Azure

Qualifications:

  • Computer Science graduate or current finalist
