Company Overview
Cherry Printers are an established printers with over 20 years commercial experience – producing high quality documents for record keeping and alike – designing, manufacturing and printing via our 3 UK sites. All our products are NCR (No Carbon Required), printed on Carbon Balanced Paper in conjunction with World Land Trust – reducing our carbon footprint and impact on climate change, passing this onto our customers.
Cherry printers provide various products to the commercial and education sectors, as well as personal stationery products.
Overview of Opportunity
A little over 3 years ago, Cherry Printers released their own brand products which have been hugely popular. Selling globally via our company website and platforms such as Amazon; we’ve sold to royalty, sold to every single state in the US (including Hawaii!!), and our products have even shown up on BBC’s The Apprentice more than once!!
Marketing duties have been shared between management and operational staff at Cherry Printers – with a lack of focus and consistency. The role of Marketing Executive is new to the business, and with the support of a close knit and dedicated team, will have the freedom to create and implement a marketing plan with the aim to increase the Cherry Printers brand on a global scale!
Role Description
- Working closely with the management and operations teams in creating and implementing marketing plan, forming a strong brand identity to subsequently increase brand awareness
- Management and implementation of social media accounts; Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc
- Social media interaction and advertising, representing the company in a professional manner and following the new brand identity
- Monitoring social media trends, competitor analysis and utilising this knowledge for the company branding etc
- Supporting the company in the creation of internal Standard Operating Procedures using video. We have hundreds of different printed products, which are manufactured in different ways. Creating and implementing video operating procedures for internal use, helping new and existing staff in the manufacturing process. This also could be utilised in a marketing capacity, via social media etc
- Providing SEO expertise and support for the company website
- Support with the companies Amazon A+ content (training to be provided for this)
- Working in a flexible manner; either remotely or in the office as required
Skills and Experience (Essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have brilliant knowledge of social media, with the ability to identify upcoming trends etc
- The ability to work as part of a team, and fit into a relaxed but dedicated environment and culture
- Have strong initiative with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of media production and communication
- Be personable with good customer service skills, upholding strong levels of customer satisfaction at the heart of all tasks
Skills and Experience (Desirable)
- Previous exposure to video creation, in a marketing or any capacity
- Knowledge of Amazon and other selling platforms
- Knowledge of SEO
- Knowledge of creative cloud software
Qualifications
- A Business/Marketing orientated degree preferred
- A similar degree with evidence of strong marketing skills and knowledge to be considered
Potential for Permanent Employment
- This role has the opportunity for permanent employment, should the 12 week internship be deemed successful and has added value to the business
