Overview of Opportunity
Headquartered on Bridgehead Business Park on the outskirts of Hull, Spectrum’s multi-million-pound offices are located close to the Humber Bridge and A63/M62 corridor, allowing for easy access from local areas.
Spectrum are seeking someone with expertise to be able to support with document capture, print and business intelligence solutions – assisting internal and external users of solutions supplied by Spectrum. The Junior Analyst will have the ability to build, maintain and develop personal technical expertise, and share their knowledge with others.
Role Description
- Providing external support via Spectrums Software Support Helpdesk – providing remote support for external clients using provided software tools and training
- Communicating with customers and talking them through a series of actions – this could be over the telephone or via email
- Recording all actions using internal software and ticketing system
- Identification/qualification of issues – liaising internally to escalate potential queries or issues appropriately
- Responding within agreed time limits, rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
- Supporting with setting up technical software products internally
- Learning and understanding Spectrums portfolio of services
- Keeping UpToDate with latest developments in the industry (new products, software and updates)
Skills and Experience (Essential):
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise internally and externally (telephone/face-to-face/email)
- Effective fault-finding techniques
- Basic understanding of scripting languages (SQL / VisualBasic / Javascript)
- Ability to think quickly and act effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A positive and flexible attitude
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- Experience of dealing with customers in a support environment
- Previous exposure to one or more of the following software products; Document Management (Therefore / INVU), Intelligent Capture (IRISXtract / ABBYY FlexiCapture), Electronic Forms (eForms), Output Management (uniFLOW / Papercut / Spindle), Business Intelligence (Qlikview / Qliksense)
Qualifications:
- Finalist or graduate in Computer Science
- Related subject to be considered with demonstrable skills of the above

- Yes, this role has the opportunity to become permanent after an initial 12-week internship
