Overview of Opportunity
A Junior Software Engineer role has become available in our software team.
Ideally, the candidate will have good knowledge/skills in OO. and C#/.NET. We are looking for a candidate who has a true passion for technology, and who gets great satisfaction from seeing a project through from conception to installation.
The role will be very varied, as we develop software which can be standalone packages, digital signage, cash and card handling, through to integrating with robotics. We are currently working on EV Charging systems, EV Payments, cloud based services.
Role Description
- Manage existing software projects
- Develop new and exciting software projects
- Designing and coding sound technical solutions of superior quality
- Translating customer requests into a working software solution
- Develop new approaches to complex problems.
- Perform and/or assist in debugging, troubleshooting and resolving application and data integrity issues
- Sharing ideas with other team members to improve overall team strength
Skills and Experience (Essential):
- Object Oriented Programming skills
- Strong C# (.NET framework)
- MVC5, HTML5, JavaScript
- Python UI
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008+
- SQL Database knowledge, methodologies and systems
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong “can do” attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
- A passion for using technology to deliver results.
- Full driving licence is desirable, willingness to learn to drive being essential.
Qualifications:
- Degree or studying towards degree in Computer Science related areas.
