40 hours, 8.30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (including 30 mins lunch break)

Duration:

12 weeks initial internship, with a view to turn permanent if successful

Overview of Opportunity

  • Head-On Renewables are a leading Electrical and Renewables business in the Hull and Humber region, committed to driving the transition to clean energy sources. Head-On’s mission is to create a sustainable future by providing innovative renewable energy solutions
  • The Graduate Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in promoting the Head-On brand, raising awareness about the groups Electrical and Renewable Energy services and engaging with the company’s target audience through various social media platforms and website promotion
  • Head-On Renewables are seeking a highly motivated and talented marketing intern to join a dynamic team, assisting in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement and generate leads – with a primary focus on leveraging social media platforms and optimizing an existing website for better visibility and engagement

Role Description

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to promote our services and engage with our target audience
  • Collaborating closely with the management team to create compelling content, manage social media campaigns and track performance metrics
  • Create, Schedule and manage content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Youtube
  • Develop High quality content, including blog posts, articles, infographics and videos to be shared on social media platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, track relevant industry news and identify opportunities for engagement
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and initiate conversations to foster vibrant online community
  • Help optimize our website for search engines (SEO) and user experience, ensuring content is up to date and engaging
  • Track and analyse website and social media analytics to measure effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging social media platforms

Skills and Experience (Essential):

  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create engaging content
  • Basic Knowledge of SEO Principles and website analytic tools (e.g. Google analytics)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges

Skills and Experience (Desirable):

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is preferred

Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate or current finalist (graduating in 2023) from any degree subject to be considered, combined with strong marketing knowledge as detailed above

  • Yes, this opportunity is an Internship to Permanent opportunity – 12 weeks initial internship, with a view to turn permanent if successful
