Red Herring Games currently require an administrator to support the smooth and efficient running of the events department, with a high level of customer contact. The events team consists of 2 other people, and you will provide support to these two individuals with client onboarding as part of your role. The Events Administrator will carry out event bookings and deal with enquiries – interacting with customers in a professional and prompt manner. A varied role allows for involvement in innovative new developments, and if you have graphic design skills or enjoy creating puzzles, we can involve you in some of our latest projects!
Role Description
- Secure and manage new bookings
- Providing accurately costed quotes to customers
- Liaise with customers, actors and venues in a professional manner
- Maintaining appropriate records of event bookings detailing customer information, locations, event type and guest numbers
- Providing quotes and responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner by telephone, email and social media
- To work collaboratively with other members of the Events team and ensure everyone is working towards the same goal
- Editing games to suit the gender divide of groups for customised detective events
- Creation of Zoom meetings and digital invitations
- Emailing materials to customers with detailed and clear instructions
- Emailing actors with scripts and Zoom link information
- Printing of games materials for live events
- Ensuring boxes shipped to actors contain all the correct materials needed
- Shipping boxes to customers and actors, ensuring all information is inputted correctly
Skills and Experience (Essential):
- Strong IT skills, including MS office software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong literacy
- Creative and innovative – “think outside the box” person
- Keen to learn
- Enthusiastic personality
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- Graphic design interest/skills
- Previous customer service exposure
Qualifications:
- A recent graduate or finalist in any subject to be considered
Potential for Permanent Employment:
- Yes, there is scope for full time employment post internship
