Jupiter IT Solutions are looking to expand and develop their sales division, and seek a determined and passionate graduate as a Business Development Executive. Currently, new business is attracted predominantly by recommendations (and there are a lot of these!) – this position will involve developing leads for new accounts using varying methods, working in a small team with lots of guidance available, analysing what works/doesn’t work, developing newly acquired accounts, as well as taking part in ongoing training to enhance your skills.

Role Description:

  • Working closely with the existing sales team members, with support and guidance along the way
  • Creating a wide range of different sales strategies with the Sales Director
  • Quality lead generation via multiple streams, including networking and relationship building, corporate alliances, telesales, e-marketing and general brand awareness
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
  • Attend exhibitions as either a visitor or resident with the view to promote our services
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications and sales channels
  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company sales
  • Creation of pipeline opportunities and implementation of follow ups
  • Outstanding communication internally and externally
  • Key account manager for clients once onboarded. Inc annual meetings, and issue resolutions

Skills and Experience (Essential):

  • The ability to learn, talk about and eventually sell Jupiter IT services
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to use your initiative
  • Customer service skills
  • Determination and drive to succeed
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office main software packages)
  • A keenness for self-development
  • A creative approach, with the ability to think outside the box!

Skills and Experience (Desirable):

  • Previous experience in a customer service position or project
  • Some proven negotiation or sales skills

Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate or finalist in any subject to be considered

Potential for Permanent Employment:

  • Yes, this internship has the intention of becoming permanent following a successful internship
