Overview of Opportunity:
- Tick 9 help empower businesses to select, deploy and continuously improve their key operating systems. Tick 9 define and deliver a customer’s data needs by obtaining business requirements from data engineering, and delivering it in the format of data analysis and visualisation – providing key insight to generate actions that drive critical improvements
- Tick 9 utilise a range of Business Intelligence (BI) tools incorporating the Qlik active intelligence platform, Microsoft Power BI and Metabase – With a growing number of clients and projects to support/deliver – there is now a requirement for graduate Business Data Analyst to join their growing team
- With a proven record of integrating graduates into their modern way of working – training will be provided to someone with a passion for data and an understanding of systems and databases
Role Description:
- Integrating into an existing team, increasing your knowledge on a number of Business Intelligence tools and analytics
- Utilising and implementing various Business Intelligence software, with extensive training provided
- Delivering applications in Qlik and PowerBI to end clients
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, identifying areas of benefit from analysis
- Retrieving and analysing data, aligning the outputs with customer requirements
- Creating Data solutions with Tick 9’s extensive tool set, to deliver continuous improvements designed exclusively for specific customers
- Attending a collaborative face to face team meeting once or twice a month in Hull
Skills and Experience (Essential):
- An understanding of databases or systems, or any exposure to analytics or reporting
- Excellent IT Skills
- Analytical skills and the ability to recognise trends and patterns
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent teamworking abilities
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and immersing yourself in a small team
- Customer service skills
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- Knowledge and experience of SQL or other similar analytical/reporting/data tools i.e. Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, Metabase etc
- Some previous exposure to data analyst tasks and duties
Qualifications:
- A recent graduate or current finalist from any subject considered, combined with relevant knowledge of data/systems/analytics/reporting etc
Potential for Permanent Employment:
- Yes, this role has a view to turn permanent at the end of initial internship – if internship deemed successful by Tick 9
