Overview of Opportunity
The position will provide the applicant with opportunities to experience a variety of back-office roles in a theatre company and gain an overall understanding of how She Productions operates. Work will take place during rehearsals and production of Beverley Does Broadway & The Three Wise Women, as well as the launch of the East Riding Community Theatre
Description
Duties will include:
- A range of Admin duties
- Marketing: o Marketing the productions –updating online sites/write Press Release o Assisting with creation & distribution of digital content
- Assisting technical management/ post-production team
- Analysis of engagement/audience response/collating evaluative evidence
- Researching & engaging hard-to-reach communities (especially those with limited online access.
- Help market future shows/events using creative and innovative ideas
- Collation of material for programmes/ future project promotion
- Create a vlog/blog to record learning activities
Skills and Experience (Essential):
- Reporting to She Productions, the candidate should be methodical, with good literary and numerical skills
- The candidate should have an interest in digital design, understand social media & feel confident using these platforms
- The successful candidate will be confident, organised and practical, with the ability to work both supportively and autonomously
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- You will ideally have a passion and enthusiasm for the arts
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or studying for a degree
